Winter finally made it to Oklahoma

Yes we're still alive and not much has changed (unfortunately) but we are trying to remain hopeful.  Anyway,  as the title of this post says Winter finally came to Oklahoma.  Well at least for a day.  The news people have been predicting a "wintery mix" for the last week but always said that we wouldn't have any accumulation of snow. Well they were wrong.  We ended up with about 3 inches of the white stuff and although it didn't last very long, we loved it.

Lilly has been really missing snow this winter and has prayed several times for it and her prayer was finally answered.  She still had to go to school so I was hoping that the snow would stick around long enough for her to play in it a little.  Luckily it did and she had so much fun.

Carter also seemed to really like the snow.  He's definitely an "Idaho boy" at heart because he couldn't get enough of it and would have stayed outside all day if he could have.  Too bad we're in Oklahoma or he'd be ready to go ice fishing with Grandpa Brown.  Anyway, we loved seeing some snow for a change and will miss it when its gone which will be too soon.  It's suppose to be back up in the 60's by Sunday.

Carter pokes anything he's not familiar with, with one chubby finger first.  He's very cautious.

I Love this little guy so much.
And this girl too!

Oh to be young and carefree
