Oh What do you do in the Summertime when all the world is mostly Brown (cause you live in the desert)

Okay so it has been a really long time since I've updated this so I'm pretty much going to make this post about our summer time adventures.  Not too entirely much has been going on this summer since Nate has been working but we were able to have a couple adventures.  So here are some pictures to commemorate the summer of 2014.

We went to Idaho to see our new niece be blessed and on the way stopped at Four Corners (total waste of time and funds but we can now say we've been).

Four States at once (but not really because surveyors misjudged and four corners is off by about 1,807 feet)

 Had a great BBQ with friends and family with this as the backdrop

Spent lots of time with family and had lots of fun with cousins

 

Carter beat up Grandpa a bit.

I also got to meet up with my friend Katie again on that trip but I'm anti having my picture taken so as to leave no evidence of our capers. Love you Katie!

Then we came back to New Mexico and spent most of the rest of the summer hanging out inside except when it did this.

We escaped the heat and headed to Cloudcroft so we could do a little hiking

  

 and look at bugs

 

 Lilly and Carter had tea parties

Then we went to Oklahoma to visit. Where the only place I took pictures was at the Children's museum.

And we loved playing with the bubbles.

But we had lots and LOTS of fun with all our family even if they weren't represented in pictures.

Then we came home and Lilly started her 2nd Grade year.

She is entirely too big!

Anywho, it was a great summer visiting family and friends and having a great time.
