I know I haven't updated in quite a while but the only excuse we have is that there hasn't been anything of any import going on. So I decided to make a post dedicated to the cutest bug ever. Our Lilly-Bug! This isn't really an ode though because then you'd assume that this would be somewhat poetic but its not.
Anyway, We love our Lilly-Bug so much. She is the sweetest, funniest, and most creative girl. She regularly brings me flowers (flowering weeds) in from the yard. She loves to help both me and her grandma cook/bake and is determined that when she grows up she will be a Chef. She is such a girl sometimes and it such a tom-boy others. She loves all things pink and princess-y but at the same time she likes to get dirty and be in the great outdoors. She has been more of a daddy's girl lately which I love. She loves spending time with Nate and playing with cars and has lately become interested in watching football with him. We have also been very blessed with how easy-going and adaptable Lilly is. We have moved so much since we've had her and yet she always does so well with every move. This year holds a lot of change for her and she is excited for it all.
Lilly has also become very excited about the baby and loves to give Aymish (her name for the baby) hugs and watch him kick. Every morning she crawls in bed with me and hugs and talks to him. At this point she is very excited to be a big sister and can't wait to meet this baby boy. We can only hope for another baby as sweet as Lilly. Now enjoy some pictures of our bug.
Daddy's monkey
Yes we actually got some snow!
Lilly has an amazing memory so even though Nate graduated nearly 2 yrs ago, she remembered and drew this picture of him graduating.
Lilly loves her family!
Oh and by the way. Lilly took the last two pictures herself.
