Northeast to Oklahoma

For our last official spring break we went to visit my family and friends in good ole' Oklahoma. We got there on Friday the 19th and it snowed the next day. Saturday morning my sister Amy and all her lovely girls came over and my dad made us all an awesome breakfast. One of my favorite things about visiting home is that my dad always makes breakfast for us the first morning that we are there. He's a really good cook.

Monday morning (after the snow had melted) we went further North to visit my Mom, Grandma, brothers, and other sister Spring. It was a busy Monday but we had a lot of fun seeing them all. We stayed the night at Spring's lovely abode on Monday night and on Tuesday she cut mine, Lilly's, and Nate's hair which we were all very grateful for (especially me). Then, being the amazing sister that she is, Spring arranged for three of my bestest friends to come over and have a cook out and visit. Alisa, Amanda, & April are sisters and I've known them since I was about 9. I got to know each of them at varying times of my growing up. April and I were friends first, then Amanda got older and we were friends and then Alisa and I were at Ricks together and went to Hawaii together. I love them all like sisters and was so glad to see them and laugh like we use to.

Anyway, Wednesday morning we said goodbye to most of my family in that area and headed back to Tulsa so we could say goodbye to my other awesome sister, Amy and her cool husband Sean, who was leaving on Vacation on Thursday. It was fun just hanging out with them while Lilly raided their candy dishes. Uncle Sean sent her home with a big bag of treats that Lilly will be forever grateful for. Next time we're there for a visit, we're going to force Sean to make us some Cajun food (he's from Louisiana) . Thursday morning we went to the Gilcrease Art Museum in Tulsa. Friday, Dad and Callie surprised Lilly with tickets to see Sesame Street Live. Lilly LOVED it. It was fun to see her interacting with the characters on Stage. She had so much fun. Saturday, Spring and her familia came up to Tulsa and we spent the day at the Tulsa zoo. We were worried that we were going to get rained on but we lucked out. It was a lot of fun. Sunday we started back home after our week long adventure.

It was a busy but fun trip and as always makes me very grateful for all of my family and friends. They are the best. Here are some pictures of our adventures.
