Snow in the Borderland

We have been so excited because last weekend they were predicting that we would get 3-5 inches of snow in Las Cruces.  We have really missed snow since we left Idaho.  We didn't appreciate it very much when we lived there but when you live in the desert and its sunny and warm 95% of the time, it can get kind of boring.  Anyway, it actually didn't snow here in town but it did in the Organ Mountains right outside of town.  So we had to go take some pictures of them.  Then we went around to the East side of the Organ mountains and it had snowed a lot more over there, about 10-11 inches.  It was a lot of fun to play in the snow for a little bit and had we had been better dressed for it, we would have stayed and played longer.  Here a few of the pictures we took.
