Playin in the sand. Yeah that's Sand. It was funny because as we drove through the park all the roads are covered with sand and it was hard to not think of it as being covered in snow.

More Exploring
We are constantly being surprised by New Mexico's geographical diversity. Wow, I sound smart. Anyway, we were missing the mountains of Idaho so we decided to go to the Mountains of New Mexico. We went to Cloudcroft, NM which is a technically a village at the top of a mountain and then headed to Bluff Springs and actually saw some snow even though it was 65degrees outside. Then on the way home we stopped at White Sands National Monument. The sand is seriously so white that it looks like snow. So here are some pictures (of course) & a short video to commemorate our adventure.

Some random guy offered to take our picture when we were at White Sands. We didn't even ask but this is what we got. Pretty good picture except for the shadow across my face.

You guys are so adventurous!! That is one thing we now wish we'd done more of while we were in Kansas City - see more of the surrounding area. Are you going to hit Mexico since you're so darn close (or have you already and I missed it?)
You have so many fun adventures! I love your hair. It looks really cute!!!!
