Weekend
Today we made the 45 minute trek to Hamer, Idaho to attend two baby blessings. Two of Nate's cousins recently had babies and were blessed today. It was fun to spend some more time with family, especially with some we don't get to see very often. The best part of the day was the weather. We actually broke 60 degrees! Yesterday was a landmark by hitting 50. It seems like winter might finally be loosening its grip over Idaho. Yesterday we took Lilly down to the river to feed the ducks. She found that quite entertaining, although she probably would have liked to have some on the grass so she could chase them. Unfortunately, they were all in the water. Then we walked around the greenbelt, which was good exercise, but Marie will never again wear her flip-flops to walk that far. Friday night we went on a date without Lilly, who stayed home with Grandpa and made a nice present for him in her diaper. I would have liked to see him change her diaper! We went out to eat and then saw National Treasure: Book of Secrets, which was not nearly as good as the first one. It was a fun weekend, and we are glad the weather is finally getting nice.
